Conversation between my big sister & our dad: i <3 my dad

So I had an impacted wisdom tooth pulled out about two weeks ago. I believe the wound is closed now, and it's just a matter of letting the hole (where the tooth was) close completely. Everything's fine except for the times when rice and other things float happily into that area and snuggle in the hole. My dad has been asking me about my now non-existent wisdom tooth every time we chat.
Dad: Don't worry about that [the hole], it will close eventually.
Me: How long po? What if it closes and there's rice inside?
Dad: I believe it pushes outward when healing.
Dad: Or rice sprouts will emerge.
ROFL.
